biography /
Dannison Wong is a visual artist, photographer and practice-based researcher working between Hong Kong and Taiwan. He obtained his BA (Hons) in Fashion and Textiles from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2012, and his MA in Applied Arts from National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University in 2025.
Working across photography, moving image, fashion imagery, artist books and self-publishing, his practice explores desire, intimacy, displacement and the ways bodies are read through clothing, images and space. His recent work focuses on queer visual culture, photographic looking and the movement of desire between bodies, cities and images.
Wong’s projects include Lost in Cities, Soft Boys Club and Glitter Gaze. Through bodily fragments, everyday spaces, gestures and constructed imagery, his work considers how a body can remain visible, desirable and partially unresolved without being reduced to a fixed identity.
